 Charles W. "Carl" Laas was born on
November 20, 1876 in Monroe, Michigan. He was the son of Johann and
Dorothea (Roggelin) Laas.
Carl was married to
Lillian who was born about 1887 in Louisiana. They lived in Bexar
County, Texas near San Antonio where Charles died on December 10,
1935.
They were parents of four children:
- Charles W. Laas, Jr. born about 1912 in Texas
- Libby Laas born about 1914 in Texas
- Walter Laas born about 1915 in Texas
- Aubry Laas born November 10, 1919 in Texas and she died
September 11, 1932 in a gun accident while hunting.
