Augusta Sophia "Minnie" Milhan was
born on November 30, 1847 in
Gross Wokern, Germany. On November 8,
1968, she married Heinrich Ernst Carl Diedrich
"Henry" Rambow and they emigrated to America in
1874.
Two of her daughters,
Mary and Fredareka married two of the sons of
August and Rika (Knaack) Heiden, William Carl and Herman,
respectively. She and her descendants, both Heiden
and Rambow are covered in more detail in other parts
of this website.
