Nancy (Anderson, Neice) Boyd was born in 1860 in Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland . She was the daughter of Elizabeth (Getty) and William Anderson.

In 1865, she, her parents and siblings emigrated from Ireland to the U.S.

She married Albert Neice in Lenawee County, Michigan circa 1880 and they were divorced in 1882.

Around 1884, she married Thomas Boyd and they had one daughter, Ethel (Boyd) Pyle, in 1885.

Nancy died on September 20, 1938 and is buried in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Michigan.
