Hanley)
Frome who was a daughter of William, Sr and
Leticia (Neeley) Getty was born on September 27, 1857 in
Indiana.
She married John A. Hanley of New
York on
September 4, 1875 in Forest Home Township in Antrim County,
Michigan. Emeline was 17 and John 26 at the time.
They had six children:

In the 1900 census, Emma and her
husband were living in Central Lake in Antrim County with their four
children, Frank (9 yrs), Lena (6 yrs), Lodela (2 yrs) and Lottie (<1
yr). On January 2, 1917, 57 year old
Emma married 56 year old William J. Frome in Central Lake. Emma died on June 8, 1928 in Central
Lake in Antrim County and she is buried at the Southern Cemetery in
that town. |
