Charles Downing was born on June 6, 1914 in Ridgeway
Township, Lenawee County, Michigan. He was the son
of Joseph Emery
and Iva (Spencer) Downing.
He was married to Mary J. Kennon and they had two
children:
- Charlene Kay (Downing)
Williams
- Donald C. Downing
Donald died on
February 21, 1981 at the age of 66 in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. He is buried at
Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway Township, Lenawee County,
Michigan.
