Richard Allen "Dick" Weyher was born on April 23, 1934 in Petersburg, Monroe County, Michigan. He was the son of Helen (Downing) and Alfred Weyher.

In 1956, he married Frances Marie Martin and they had two children:

1. Rich Weyher

2. Vickie Weyher

Richard died on September 9, 2017 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama at the age of 83.

Frances who was born in 1938, passed away in 2018 at the age of 80.
