Mary Oliver was born April 12, 1899 in Britton, Michigan as the daughter of Ernest H. and Mary (Curry) Oliver.

She died in 1980 in Tecumseh, Michigan at the age of 81 and is buried in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway Township, Lenawee County, Michigan.
