Lavern Oliver aka Lavern,
was born December 27, 1907 in Britton, Michigan as the
son of Ernest H. and Mary (Curry)
Oliver.
He was married to Beatrice Lillian Semark.
Lavern served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army
during World War II. He was inducted into the
service in February of 1943 and, after training
in chemical warfare at Camp Sibert in Alabama,
he served in China. Prior to the war, he worked
at the Willow Run bomber plant.
He died on August
11, 1993 in Lenawee County, Michigan at the age of
85 and is buried in
Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway Township, Lenawee
County, Michigan. |
