Sheldon James Oliver was born August 22, 1916 in Britton, Michigan as the son of Ernest H. and Mary (Curry) Oliver.

He died on March 1, 1917 in Lenawee County, Michigan at the age of 6 months and is buried in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway Township, Lenawee County, Michigan.
