  Wanda
Mae (Rendel) Gilson was born on April 19,1920 in
Dundee, Michigan. She was the fourth child of
Lottie (Oliver) and
Benjamin Rendel, Sr.
She was married to
Charles F. Gilson who preceded her in death. In the
1950 census, they were listed as living in Milan,
Michigan.
They had at least
three children:

Gary Gilson
During her working
life, Wanda was employed at the Bomber Factory at
Willow Run, Michigan during World War II. She also
worked at Revco as a welder in Deerfield, Michigan
and as an employee of Punta Gorda Medical Center in
Florida.
Wanda died at the age
of 94 in 2014 and is buried at Deerfield Township
Cemetery in Lenawee County, Michigan. |
