Sophia Maria (Behm) Zehner was born on Sunday, August 9, 1908 in Camden City, Camden County, New Jersey. Her parents were Albert Adam and Ella (King) Behm.

In the 1910 census, Sophia and her parents and sibling were living at 2128 Watson Street in Camden City. By 1920, the family was living at 289 Thirteenth Street in Hammonton, Atlantic County, NJ. Sophia was a binder at a book factory in 1930. The 1940 census found them at 237 West Rockland Street in Philadelphia.

She married Reynold Luther Zehner and they had one child, Reynold A. Zehner.

Sophia died on June 4, 1989 at the age of 80 and she was buried in Forest Hills Cemetery in Philadelphia. Prior to her death, Sophia was living on Bell's Lake Drive in Blackwood, Camden County, NJ.

Reynold Luther was born on Wednesday, November 27, 1907 in Philadelphia. He died in April of 1971 at the age of 63.
