Elizabeth Rehmann was born circa July, 1909 in New Jersey. She was the eighth child of Christian Wilhelm and Ida (Scull) Rehmann.

The 1910 census shows them living at 102 West Foundry St., Ward 3, Millville, Cumberland County, NJ.
