V. Seely was born on Saturday, November 2, 1907
in New Jersey. He was the son of
Agnes L.
(Doerfel) and Jonathan Seely.
In the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census reports, he
was living with his parents and siblings at 116
Chew Road in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New
Jersey. By 1930, he was listed as a garage
stockman. In 1935, he and his family were living
in Philadelphia. In 1940, they were living at
337 Fairview Avenue, Ardsley, Abington Township,
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was a auto
parts stock man at a yearly wage of $1,400.
He married Margaret "Marge" and they had three
children.
