Alfred Lewis or Louis Reibel was born circa 1914 in New Jersey. He was the son of Alfred William and Mary E. (Champion) Reibel.

The 1930 census shows him, his father and sister Thelma living as boarders at a residence in Runnemede Borough, Camden County, NJ. By 1940, Alfred and his father were living on Clements Bridge Road in Runnemede

Alfred L. died in 1968 at the age of 54 and is buried in the Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton, New Jersey.
