Julius Rehmann, Jr was born circa 1911 as the son of Julius C., Sr. and Rosie (Menger) Rehmann. He was born in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey.

In the 1920 and 1930 census reports, he was living with his parents and siblings on a farm at 720 Twelfth Street in Hammonton, Atlantic County, New Jersey. In the second report, he was shown as a clerk in a grocery store.

He was married to Marie C. Dockery who was born circa 1910.

The 1940 census has him and Marie living at 2069 East Atlantic Street in Philadelphia with Marie's parents, Michael and Mary Dockery.
