Much esteemed Mr. Heiden

We enclose the requested statements (pages) of the church records as they appear in various Mecklenburg communities. The baptisms of Johann Cansier and Maria Heiden can only be determined with great effort since no marriage took place. For our expenses and costs, submit 15 dollars in bank check.

Respectfully

I.A. Monk

In 1973, I took a chance and sent a letter to the genealogy agency for what was then East Germany. To my pleasant surprise, they responded to my request and I found someone to translate the letters into English. This letter deals with:

* The bill for $15 for their expenses in looking up the information.
