Kenneth W. Kimlin
Kimlin, Kenneth W. Doc Ypsilanti Twp, MI Age 74,
passed away Friday, April 8, 2005, following an extended illness, with his
family at his side.
He was born March 30, 1931 in Gaastra, MI, the
son of Ruel and Phyllis (LeClair) Kimlin. He was a 1949 graduate of Roosevelt
High School, Ypsilanti. He served honorably in the
U.S. Army.
On June 6, 1959, he married JoAnn Heiden and she
survives. Mr. Kimlin was employed by Ford Motor Com pany, Rawsonville Plant for
35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a former member of St. Alexis Catholic
Church. He loved to fish and hunt, and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his
mother Phyllis Spears of Ann Arbor; four children, Linda (James) Meyer of
Brooklyn, MI, Wayne Kimlin, Ronald (Kimberly) Kimlin, and Susie (Robert) Wade
all of Ypsilanti; six grandchildren, Brandy (Reid), Chris, Kyle, Douglas, Jacob
and Jaime; two brothers, Jerry (Nell) Kimlin and Bill Kimlin; one sister, Nancy
(James) Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday,
April 12 at Holy Trinity Student Chapel. Cremation will follow. Friends may call
2-4 and 6-9:00 p.m. Monday at STARK FUNERAL SERVICE Moore Memorial Chapel and at
the church from 10 A.M. Tuesday until time of service. |
