Jayne Lynette Klatt was born in Tiffin, Ohio on September 15,
1971. She was the fourth of five children born from the union of
the late Harold and Jeanette (Wood) Klatt. Jayne earned her
Medical Assistant Certification in Florida, but she was mostly a
homemaker. She married Tony Cortes and from this union came the
birth of two daughters: Misty and Meagan. She later was blessed
with daughter: Taylor from Dave Lindermuth, and a son: Jayden
from Mike Ellis.
Jayne loved the company of others, and having a good time. She
was an excellent pool player and had enjoyed participating in
several leagues over the years at the Monroe Eagles. Jayne also
enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She was a Florida State
Champion in Foosball. Jayne was very passionate, and she liked
to fight first and ask question later. In her spare time Jayne
challenged her mind by completing crossword puzzles.
