Bernard Laas, 73, of 121st Street, died Saturday, July 14, 1984 in his home. He was a driver-salesman 35 years for the former Buckeye Brewery, retiring in 1972. He was an army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Bessie; daughter, Mrs. Lillian McGill; brother, Richard, and sisters, Esther Laas,  Mrs. Rhoda Wentland and Mrs. Dorothy Mae Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mamie (Richter) Laas.

Bernard's great grandmother was the sister of August Heiden's wife's mother.
