  Deloris Mae (Heiden) Fitzgerald was born on June 20, 1931
in Monroe, Michigan, the daughter of
Edwin "Pete" and Lela (Viets) Heiden. She lived at the family home at
12880 South Custer Road.
She was a 1949 graduate of
Dundee High School and 1950 graduate of Elkhart Business University in Elkhart,
Indiana.
On July 5, 1952, She married Gerald LaVerne Fitzgerald in Indiana
and their first home was at 1493 Metcalf Street in Willow Run,
Michigan. Deloris worked as a typist at the Kaiser-Frazer Corp.
Gerald was born on March 19,
1926 and he died at the age of 60 on January 20, 1987. They had four children.
Deloris died at the age of 79 on November 1, 2010 in Hillsborough County,
Florida and was cremated. She had ten grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren at the time of her death.

the records and documents, we have found this name spelled two different
ways. The 1940 and 50 census, social security, marriage license and
obituary spell it Deloris. Under her senior picture in the 1949 yearbook
it is Delores and it is given as Dolores elsewhere. So, we will go with
