Judith A. (Laas) Prater was born on February 2, 1947 as the daughter of Robert W., Sr. and Ruth (Ritenour) Laas in Toledo, Ohio.

She was married to John R. Prater and they had two children.

Judith worked for many years at Meijer Thrifty Acres as a clerk.

On Thursday, November, 2, 2017, she died at home in Perrysburg, Ohio. Judith is buried at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo.
