Delmar Allen Shelby was born on August 7, 1973 in Flint, Michigan as the son of Delmar and Judy (Stanley) Shelby.

He was struck by a car and died on November 24, 1978 in Flint. He is buried at the Flint Memorial Park in Mount Morris, Genesee County, Michigan.
