 Waldemar
Julius Wilhelm Jacob Freudenthal was born on
Tuesday, April 26, 1887 in Philadelphia. He was the
son of
Mary
(Kempker) and Woldemar Freudenhal. In some
sources he was called "William" Freudenthal.
In the 1910 census, he was living on Twelfth Street
in Hammonton, New Jersey.
Circa 1908, he married Vermilia Alice Bassett. They
had four children.

In the 1910 and 1920 census reports, he and Alice
and their children were living on a farm on Twelfth
Street in Hammonton. Waldemar was listed as a
glasscutter in a cut glass factory. His parents were
living at the same address. The 1920 list has him as
a laborer on a fruit farm.
Waldemar died on February 27, 1920 at the age of 32
in Folsom, Atlantic County, New Jersey. He is buried
in the cemetery of St. James Lutheran Church in
Folsom Borough, Buena Vista Township, Atlantic
County, New Jersey.
Vermilia was born on Wednesday, November 17, 1886 in
New Jersey. She died on June 13, 1917 in Folsom at
the age of 30. She was also buried in the cemetery
of St. James Lutheran Church |
