 Bertha
P. (Moore) Heinecke was born circa
1892 in New Jersey. She was the only
child of
Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Rehmann) and
Nathaniel Moore.
In
1910, she was living with her mother
on Railroad Avenue in Hammonton,
Atlantic County, New Jersey and was
listed as a shoemaker in a shoe
factory. By 1920, Bertha was living
with her uncle and aunt, Edward and
Kate Heinecke at 1148 Frankford
Avenue in Philadelphia. She was now
a "seamer" in a shoe factory.
Circa
1921, she married William C.
Heinecke.
The
1930 census shows Bertha and her
husband living at 1313 Hewson Street
in Philadelphia with her mother,
Minnie. In 1940, they were still at
this address and William was listed
as a car builder at a traction
company with annual income of
$1,500. |
