  Harry
Edward Sowden, Sr. was born on
Monday, May 10, 1926 in
Pennsylvania. He was the son of
Louise L. (Heinecke) and Harry Camp
Sowden.
In
1935, he was living with his
grandparents,
Edward and Kate (Rehmann) Heinecke
in Philadelphia. By 1940, they were
living at 1312 East Hawson Street in
the city.
He
married Shirley D. Werett and they
had three children:

Sowden, Jr.
Harry, Sr. died on November 17, 2009
at the age of 83. He was buried in
the Washington Crossing National
Cemetery in Newton, PA. At the time
of his death, Harry, Sr. was living
in Bryn Mawr, Delaware County, PA.
Shirley who was born August 9, 1928,
died on May 6, 2009 at the age of
80. She is also buried at Washington
Crossing National Cemetery. |
