 Friedericka Sophia Henrietta
Johanna (Heiden) Schmidt was born on December 31, 1832 in
Gross Wokern, the first child
of Maria Heiden. She was the half-sister of
August Heiden,
Maria's second offspring. Her
father was listed as man named Wilhelm Ave from the nearby
village of
Klaber.
She married Johann Carl Theodor Schmidt on April 16, 1861 in
Mamerow at the age of 28
while he was 33 years of age. Friedericka died on Friday, January 12, 1900
in Mamerow at the age of 67.
They had three children.

 We
do not know what happened to her son, Heinrich, but the second son,
known as August (i.e. Helmuth), moved to the village of
Mamerow.
Her daughter, Marie, was married and widowed as a young
woman. At the age of 52 in 1918, she marred a man named Dohmstrich
and moved to the city of
Ribnitz-Damgarten
which about 25 miles north of
Rostock,
Germany She is the one of the people who
corresponded with
August and Rika (Knaack) Heiden in the 1920's.
