 Scott
Gregory Heiden was born Wednesday, August 31, 1960 in
Toledo, Ohio. He was the third son of Harold and Carol
(Boos) Heiden.
A 1978
graduate of Bedford High School and he graduated with a B.S.
in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological
University in 1984.
Scott
married the former Linda Faye Kuhn on April 18, 1986 in St.
Wiedeleins Catholic Church in Fostoria, Ohio, Linda’s home
town. She was born there on Thursday, October 15, 1953. They
had two children.
Linda is a
1980 graduate of the Bowling Green Area School of Practical
Nursing and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Scott was an
Eagle Scout and stayed active in the Boy Scouts of America in
several capacities. He played high school hockey and his hobbies
included skiing, camping, fishing, woodworking and traveling.
He passed away
of cancer at home on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Scott is buried at
Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in La Salle, Michigan. |
