Helen and Wilma were the daughters of
Wm Carl and Mary Heiden. They were aunts to Walter and Lavern Berns.
Howard was the son of John and Agnes (Brockman) Heiden.
He was first cousin to Helen and Wilma.
Not sure who the baby is that is being held by Lavern.
He and Sallie were married in April of 1939 but did not have their
first child,
Galen, until 1948. From the timeframe and
facial features, it looks like Carol (Heiden) Toburen who
was born in 1938...but we don't know for sure.
