Gross Roge or Groß Roge is a
small town a few miles north of
Groß Wokern, the home of
August Heiden and
Heinrich Rambow. It currently has a
population of around 600 people and was the home of
Friedrich Stüve who married August Heiden's mother,
Maria, on
November 15, 1844. August was six years old at the time that
Friedrich became his step-father.
