Emilie (Schafhausen) Dahme is shown as a child in the picture next to the right of her grandmother, Freidericka Sophia Henrietta Johanna (Heiden) Schmidt who was August Heiden's half-sister.

She was the daughter of Marie (Schmidt, Schafhausen) Dohmstritch and her first husband, Carl Friedrich Schafthausen.

Other than this, all we know about her is that she lived at 18 New Bramow Street in the port city of Rostock.

These final facts are known because Marie (Schmidt, Schafhausen) Dohmstrich, August Heiden's half-niece, was the one who sent several letters to Rika (Knaack) Heiden during the 1920's. Some of the letters were also signed by her daughter, Emilie Dahme. Translations of these letters may be found by clicking  here.
