 George Charles Conrad
Rehmann was born on Sunday, April 5, 1868 as the
third child of
Heinrich Frederick and Christina (Roller) Rehmann. The family was
living in New Germany (now Egg Harbor City), Buena Vista Township,
Atlantic County, New Jersey.
On Saturday, November
15, 1890, George married Ida Emmaline White in
Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey. She was
born in March, 1871 in Williamstown, New Jersey.
They had six
children:

In the 1900 census,
George was listed as a glass blower in a bottle
factory. By 1910, they were living on South Street,
Monroe Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey and
owned their farm. Their 1920 address was Berlin Road
in Monroe Township and George was listed as a farmer
and laborer in a shipyard. In the 1930 census, they
are living on Tuckahoe Road in Monroe Township. In
1940, their address had changed again to Downer
Franklinville Road in Monroe Township.
George died in
February of 1943 at the age of 74 in Williamstown,
Gloucester County, New Jersey. |
