Shortly after their
marriage,
Art and Mildred (Roggerman) Heiden lived
in the Village of Dundee, Michigan in this house at
247 Rawson Street. It is about 1/2 mile west of the
downtown area and just north of Tecumseh Street
(M-50). While there, they saw the birth of their
first child,
Harold Arthur Heiden on September 17,
1934.
 This, of course,
shows the house probably 50 or 60 years after they
inhabited it. We do not know how long they lived
here but their second child, Joyce, was born 4 years later
while they were living in another house at
134 Ida Maybee Road. |
