Carl and Anita (Kroeger) Heiden lived at his parent's house for a while after their marriage in 1930. That was where their first daughter, Velda was born. They then moved a few hundred yards east on Dixon Road to the Wakefield farm. After a few years at a place on North Custer Road, they moved to this address in 1950. Carl (1900-1972) and Anita (1900-1997) lived here until their deaths and Velda continued to live there for many years after before moving to Monroe, Michigan.
