The 1950 U.S. Census listed the Walter (46) and Edith (32) Heiden family living at this address. Their children Gerald (14), Wayne (10), Patricia (5) and Daniel (3) were included as was Walter's brother, Elmer (41). Walter was shown as a "Flour Packer" for the Teddy Girl Flour company.

The family must have moved to 650 Alford Road shortly after this census because the kids got on the school bus that I was riding every morning during the early 1950s. My family lived on the Laskey Farm at 12444 Dixon Road just east of where Alford Road intersected with it.
