From what we know, the newlywed William Carl and Mary (Rambow) Heiden moved to a long since torn down house on what was called the Adler Farm shortly after their marriage in 1897. The following year, 1898, their first child, Edna (Heiden) Berns was born in that house. In 1899, they moved a short distance down the road to the Albright farm at 6140 South Custer Road.
