The 1950 U.S. Census has Edna (Heiden) and Henry Berns living here with their daughters, Eva (18), Laura (16) and Linda (9). They had purchased the farm from Fred Weilnau in 1944. Fred was a relative of Henry Rambow III's wife, Caroline Weilnau.

They lived here until Henry's death in 1977. Later, Edna lived at the Dundee Meadows senior living facility in Dundee until her death in 1988.
