Carl and Mary (Rambow) Heiden had thirteen children, all
of whom lived to adulthood. Eleven of them went on to
have children resulting in 38 grandchildren for William
and Mary. Those grandchildren went on to produce 84
great grandchildren.
Two of the grandchildren,
Dale Arthur, son of
Lester and
Lila (Viets) Heiden and an unnamed boy, son of
Arthur and Mildred (Roggerman) Heiden did not
survive to adulthood.
The grandchildren were born over a span of nearly 40
years from 1919 to 1958. Walter Berns was the oldest of
this generation and Gail Baker is the youngest of the
